Papyrus flowers and ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs are featured on this brightly colored vintage silk scarf by Jeanne Lanvin, circa 1980s.

The square shaped scarf consists of a silk twill with classic Egyptian designs from antiquity to include a center medallion of papyrus flowers and hieroglyphic border trim, in colors of red, turquoise, baby blue, buttercream, and white.

*PLEASE NOTE – that there is a watermark along one corner of the scarf as shown (see last pic), and priced accordingly.

Otherwise, it remains in good condition and has hand rolled and stitched hems, measures approximately 26&1/2 inches square, is signed “Lanvin”, “Paris” on one corner, and has an embroidered label for “100% Silk”, “Made in France”, with fabric care instructions on the reverse.
